Best for Hobbiest – Monoprice Maker Select 3D Printer v2 ($329.00)
This 3D Printer is great for hobbiest or someone looking for their first machine. This machine features a 19.7 x 18.9 x 11.2 inches build size and comes mostly assembled. All it takes is four bolts to attach the bottom to the vertical frame and then you will be all set! There are many upgrades and modifications that can be made to this machine so it is a great platform to learn on!
Best Large Build Volume – Creality CR-10 ($548.00)
This printer has the largest build volume of the bunch! It features a 30x30x40 cm build volume! With the simple Rep-Rap design, it is very easily modified and can be made larger (we do not see why you would need more).
Best Budget – Monoprice Select Mini ($220.00)
The Monoprice Select Mini needs no introduction. This small, compact, and affordable machine is great value for money. If you do not need to print objects larger than about 4 inch cubes, this machine is for you. It comes preassembled, so just take it out of the box and hit print!
